These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Stone Mat Studios, LLC’s website, mobile applications, booking systems, digital content, and online services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing our website, creating an account, using our app, booking services, or otherwise interacting with our Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account independently or enter into agreements through our Services.

Individuals aged 16–17 may use Services with parent or guardian consent where permitted.

Users under age 16 may not create accounts, participate in classes, utilize sauna services, or access studio facilities.

 

2. Services Covered by These Terms

These Terms apply to:

  • Mobile applications

  • Account creation

  • Class bookings

  • Online purchases

  • Digital content

  • Messaging systems

  • Scheduling tools

  • Integrated platforms and related services

 

Separate agreements may apply to memberships, waivers, studio participation, purchases, promotions, or other services.

 

3. Memberships, Purchases & Separate Agreements

Studio memberships, packages, class credits, recurring billing arrangements, refunds, cancellation policies, freezes, and related financial terms are governed separately by our Membership Terms & Conditions. Participation in classes, heated environments, wellness services, and sauna services may require separate liability waivers and studio agreements.

4. Accounts & Security

You agree to provide accurate account information.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining account security

  • Protecting login credentials

  • Activities occurring under your account

  • Updating your information when changes occur

We may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, misuse, abuse, policy violations, or security concerns.

5. Third-Party Platforms & Technology

Stone Mat Studios utilizes third-party systems including but not limited to:

  • bsport

  • Stripe

  • Wix

  • Google services

  • Analytics platforms

  • Email and SMS providers

 

Third-party providers may maintain separate policies and terms. Stone Mat Studios is not responsible for outages, interruptions, payment failures, or technical issues caused by third-party providers.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Violate laws or regulations

  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems

  • Disrupt Services or infrastructure

  • Upload malicious software or code

  • Misrepresent identity or account ownership

  • Harass instructors, staff, or other users

  • Use Services for unlawful purposes

7. User Content, Reviews & Testimonials

By submitting content, you grant Stone Mat Studios a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, modify, and publish submitted content for operational or promotional purposes. You represent that submitted content belongs to you or that you have permission to share it. We reserve the right to remove content at our discretion.

 

8. Photography, Video & Social Media

Studio spaces may occasionally be photographed or recorded for marketing or promotional purposes. Members may request exclusion from promotional content by notifying staff.

9. Intellectual Property

All logos, branding, content, graphics, videos, materials, designs, photographs, and website content are owned by Stone Mat Studios, LLC or its licensors. No content may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, or commercially used without written permission.

 

10. Health & Wellness Disclaimer

Stone Mat Studios provides fitness and wellness services. Information provided through our website, app, content, communications, or Services:

  • Is educational in nature

  • Does not constitute medical advice

  • Should not replace professional healthcare advice

 

Participation decisions remain your responsibility.

 

11. Communications Consent

By providing contact information, you consent to receive:

  • Account notifications

  • Booking confirmations

  • Class reminders

  • Membership communications

  • Marketing emails

  • Promotional text messages

  • Service announcements

  • You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

  • Fitness outcomes

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Iowa law, Stone Mat Studios, LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages related to use of Services.

 

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Stone Mat Studios, LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, instructors, and affiliates from claims arising from your misuse of Services or violation of these Terms.

 

15. Dispute Resolution

Disputes should first be addressed informally. If unresolved, disputes shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration in Iowa, except where prohibited by law. Class actions and collective proceedings are waived to the fullest extent allowed by law.

 

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa.

 

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of Services after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
